The Empire's Elite Review by Weatherwax

The TIE Interceptor brings a supercharged TIE Fighter to the table. The Interceptor was created for the most elite pilots of the Empire to counter the Rebellion's fighter superiority. While it isn't any more resilient than a typical TIE Fighter, the added speed and maneuverability lets the Interceptor dance around the enemy and attack from outside their fire arc.

The star of this expansion is definitely Soontir Fel. The legendary Baron Fel is one of the greatest pilots in the galaxy (and supposedly so good that Vader specifically chose the TIE Advanced to have shields between himself and Fel). In addition to have Pilot Skill of 9, Fel has a fantastic ability to stack things in his favor. This has made him very successful in tournaments, particularly with some key upgrades from Imperial Aces and the Starviper expanion. Keep in mind that the autothrusters (from the Starviper) are practically essential for making Interceptors competitive against ships using turrets. (Posted on 11/12/2015)

With the right pilot and upgrades, this can be almost impossible to bring down. Very effective, and a mainstay for most imperial builds. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. (Posted on 11/7/2015)
Arguably One Of The Best Imperial Ships Review by Boxcar Gaming

TIE Interceptors are better than standard TIE's in every way except for points cost. This expansion includes the Soontir Fel pilot card, as well as upgrade cards Daredevil and Elusiveness. Squints pack a punch and are hard to hit when used well, but are fragile and cannot take much punishment. (Posted on 11/2/2015)
Soontir Review by ben

You want this ship for Soontir Fel, but besides him the Interceptor is an excellent ship. I would recommend getting one or two these and and the Imperial Aces pack. The pilots and upgrades included in each are a must have for any x-wing player and if you are an imperial player they contain some of the best pilots out there.

The ship can be fragile and hard to learn, but once you gain a bit of control over it you will be dodging out of firing arcs and destroying rebel scum in no time. (Posted on 10/20/2015)
Great Ship and Great Pilot - Soontir Fel! Review by Micah

The TIE interceptor really adds a lot to your imperial squadron - great pilots, great upgrades, better attack than the regular TIE, and all-around fun to fly!

When I got my three packs one of them had a broken solar wing when it came in the mail, but Fantasy Flight's customer service was top notch and after a couple quick email's they had a replacement ship in the mail to me within a week or so.

You can't go wrong with the TIE interceptor or Fantasy Flight! (Posted on 10/19/2015)
Great Expansion Review by Andrew

This is a fantastic ship, both aesthetically and gameplay wise. Get this ship, along with an A-Wing or Imperial Aces (for reasons I'll explain later). The maneuver dial for the TIE Interceptor is a solid one, with 7 green maneuvers. Statistically, the ship is fragile, but if flown properly with the right pilot and correct positioning, can be a deadly force. The TIE Interceptor is an arc dodger. The idea to to have a higher pilot skilled pilot, like Soontir Fel or Turr Phennir, use boosts and barrel rolls to get out of the enemy's firing arcs. The important thing to recognize is that the Elite Pilot Talent called Push the Limit (sold in Imperial Aces and the A-Wing expansions) is crucial for any Interceptor. Multiple actions, such as boosting into Range 1, then barrel rolling out of arc, are the bread and butter of this style of ship. The ship only comes with 2 upgrade cards, both of which are decent but not as important as Push the Limit. Be careful with your Interceptors around 360 turret ships. Arc Dodgers are very fun to fly, and this is a must have for any X-Wing player, casual or serious. (Posted on 10/13/2015)

This pack comes with Soontir Fel, who is hands down one of the best Imperial pilots out there. He is super elusive and has good offense to boot. (Posted on 10/10/2015)
