Ackbar's Finest
The result of the genius of Admiral Ackbar and his Verpine Technicians, the B-WIng was the most advanced assault starfighter of its time. This is reflected in this amazing expansion to the X-Wing Miniatures game. Packing all sorts of armament, and flown only by the best, this is a must-have to any collection. Paired up and fully loaded, these ships are nearly unstoppable.

As cool as you think it would be
We don't just play X-Wing as a game, I think. We also have glimpses of the movie saga in our heads. Therefore, the B wing is more than just a ship. It's a lesser celebrity in the world of Star Wars - at least in my mind. In the game, the B-Wing does not let you down either. The ship plays nicely, and has a lot of strengths as a fighter / bomber, and the point-costs are about right. It seems to hold its own in a dogfight. This is one fighter that is stock-up worthy in my opinion, and copies of the upgrade cards are useful too.

Big ship in a little package
The B-Wing is, in many ways, like a large base ship (ala the Falcon, Shuttle, etc) that happens to be in a small base. It has heavy firepower (including a cannon and ordinance), lackluster defense, and a good bit of health. This does fit pretty well as canonically the B-Wing is meant to engage larger ships. The B-Wing is best in close range engagements with several sharp turns and short K-turns. With a few upgrades, the ship isn't even concerned with colliding with other ships thanks to advanced sensors. It is rather slow and vulnerable to arc dodgers like the, A-Wing, phantom and interceptor.

The pilots are decent (though the best pilots are in Rebel Aces) with some potentially interesting abilities but in many ways, the B-Wing is best just on its own with generic pilots. A couple of B-Wings can really ruin the maneuvering of a swarm or even arc dodgers and that strategy has shown up in some of the top squadrons at Worlds.

This should be one of your first purchases after the base set
This is the expansion you want to get early. Maybe even 4. 4 B-wings make a good list and tournament ready. The fact that this comes with Fire Control System makes it a great pick up to expand your fleet.

Hard hitter!
The B-wing is a super hard-hitting ship for the Rebels. It may not be the most maneuverable beast out there, but it takes a beating and dishes it out as well. Good pilots with the solo pack, but I'd recommend the Rebel Aces pack as well to fill it out even more.

B-Wing is the boss
The B-Wing offers the most viability for points in this game, giving you 8 hitpoints on a ship that costs as low as 22 points. Fantastic options are available with the System upgrade slot and the Cannon upgrade slot.

Heavy Fighter
The B-wing is like an inverse Y-wing as its hull and shield values are swapped allowing the ship to prevent more critical effects from hampering it, though making it weak against the few upgrades which allow striking past shields such as Proton Bombs.

Furthermore where the Y-wing with a turret could fly more erratically the B-wing likes to strike at the opponent from up close making sharp turns and trying to prevent their target from escaping, conversely though attaching the Heavy Laser Cannon on it makes it a damage dealing monster at times as it pelts four dice attacks at enemy ships regardless of range.

This ship is recommended for the game, furthermore for Rebel players to provide them with on of the tankiest ships on a small base.

Good combo ship
I was a bit turned off by its large number of red maneuvers at first, but after using it a bit I realized that is not a problem at all. It makes a great combo ship with an A-wing.

The Unyielding and Relentless Rebel Juggernaut
The B-Wing is a slow and ponderous starship, but that is more than made up for its durability and attack value. It can take 8 hits points and has a standard attack of 3.

This is a true juggernaut whose purpose is to fly through the map and practically one shot the imperials out of the sky.

If maneuverability is very important this is not the ship for you, as expected it is a bomber style ship that moves slow and gets stress tokens more than its faster cousin: the A-Wing.

For a truly deadly combo try : Ten Numb, Marksman, and Autoblaster. This trifecta gives you a slew of un-cancellable hits if used at range 1 and has destroyed my tie fighters time and time again.

A lot of fun and great option for rebel players

That ship that's better at being the X-Wing than the X-Wing is.
The X-Wing was supposed to be a basic jouster. The B-Wing is better at that than the X-Wing is. A veritable knife fighter with 8 hit points, a maneuver set ideal for close quarters maneuvering, 6 upgrade slots, and a very efficient points cost makes this ship ideal for heavy-hitting Rebel squads.

Fantastic Jouster
First off, this is the cheapest I have found any X-wing small ship on the internet. It's a standard jousting-style ship for a Rebel player, and does well, throwing three attack dice, with three hull and five shields (we won't mention it's defense dice, though). It's very resilient, and maneuverable in tight places, primarily due to it's barrel roll action. It does not cover much ground fast, but it's intention is to be a platform with guns, not a speedster. The ship looks great, and is a great addition to the X-wing Miniature ships game. They have been used in tournament topping lists, including a list that won the 2013 world championship and a list that won the GenCon 2015 championship. The B-Wing is one of my favorite ships to fly. If you're into X-Wing, at least two of these is a must for any collection.

A rebel Powerhouse
The B-Wing is viewed by many as the best rebel fighter in the game. For its point cost, you get a very powerful ship, one that is both offensively and defensively better than many ships of the same cost (in game points) and price (US Dollars). Thanks to some of it's in game capabilities, its also a fairly mobile ship, and offers many options for upgrading.

Fantasy Flight Games offers very impressive models, especially for the price of the product. They come fully painted, and are always of professional quality. This is a great model for displaying, and a great ship for playing.

Multipe B-Wings are a common rebel squad. For more B-wings, I suggest also purchasing the Rebel Ace expansion. It comes with an additional B-Wing, with additional B-Wing pilots and upgrades, and it gives you the most out of your B-Wings if you have access to both expansions.

Solid, Versatile Fighter for the Rebellion
The B-Wing is a great fighter for your rebel squadron lists. Boasting a flexible load-out capacity (bolstered by the Rebel Aces expansion) and decent base attack, the B-Wing compliments the X-Wings on your lists - or can even hold its own.

Price is reasonable for a minis game and the quality of the minis in this series are exceptional (the B-Wing is no exception).

Favorite Ship
I loved the b-wing in the movies, and on the table this thing is a beast. A must have for any rebel player. Buy 2 of these and the rebel aces pack, you'll thank yourself.

Rebellion Workhorse
The B-Wing is a real workhorse for the rebellion in the game. Strong attack, combined with defensive positioning ability and strong shields makes this a real winner.
The basic Blue Squadron pilot is the model of efficiency, but you can go crazy with upgrades and unique pilots.

Super-Solid Rebel Ship!
The B-Wing has a lot to offer; it's tough with 8 total hits, a good 3 die attack, and has several good upgrade options, it's just not too maneuverable. The expansion has some quality upgrades like Fire-Control System and fun-but-gimmicky Autoblaster, and good pilots like Ten Numb, and the super cost efficient Blue Squadron Pilot. Getting more than one is highly advisable.

b,for beast, wing is a workhorse!
As always the price is right and quality of the sculpt is great! These are going to be your bread and butter for a beat stick based squadron.enough shields to outlast almost anything and tons of firepower make these priceless! Add in rebel aces and you just struck gold! I run my rebel aces b wing and this one, both fully upgraded, in 100 point games and just do work! Two fully upgraded will be your entire squad too. squeak in a z95 headhunter to help tie up some ships and watch the dice, and heads, roll!

Attack! Attack! Attack!
This ship may not have the agility to defend itself, but it is not needed. With 8 total hit points you can definitely do some damage before you are taken out. Unlike a tie fighter which can be kill in a single attack.

Love the B-wing. . . but needs the right support and upgrades
Great ship, beautiful design. It's a tank, but slow as molasses. Make sure to have some good support for him. Bought separately with a A-wing but in retrospect, getting the Aces pack would have worked out better due to the available crew cards. Has a lot of potential as is, but needs the proper upgrades to maximize its game play

Shields up
The B-wing is a great addition to your fleet and a great looking ship besides the big names it's one of the hardest ships to crush due to the 5shields it carries not the fastest but strong and reliable definitely need two or more in your fleet if you want to crush the Imperials

Great for competitive play
After purchasing the 'Rebel Aces' expansion, this was a natural move for my next buy. Despite it's low agility, it has good maneuverability and the barrel roll can help dodge and prevent enemy attacks. If you know how to fly them, these can be very devastating to your opponent's squad.
