If you love Arkham Horror, like I do, but don't have the time or table space to play as often as you want, then this game is for you. Elder Sign is a thematic horror game set in the Lovecraft mythos that uses dice rolling as its main mechanic using custom dice for the game. You must explore a creepy museum & stay alive/sane while doing it. Although Elder Sign loses a little bit of theme when compared to Arkham Horror, it plays much faster & a good storyteller can overcome the game's thematic shortcomings. A fast, fun & thematic game that will have you screaming at both your victories & losses.
