If you ever wanted to see what it would be like to be stranded on a deserted island...
I've heard a lot of great things about this game and finally decided to give it a try. This is a highly thematic co-op board game and after only a couple of tries at Scenario 1 I can already see why this game has received all of the accolades. The artwork and quality of the board and components is top notch. The game is very deep and story driven and at first may seem a little overwhelming. It's not as complex as it appears out of the box but I think many people will benefit from some of the additional guides and instructional videos available on Boardgamegeek to truly gain a full understanding. I want to point out that this game is not easy and there is a lot going on, especially on first play. Once you get through Scenario 1 and gain a understanding for the flow of the game you will absolutely love it. Lastly, Robinson Crusoe has a lot to offer for solo players.

A Great Co-op Game
This game has a great theme and is extremely challenging. It is one of the few co-op games that I really like. It is super fun if everyone is able to make their own decisions. If you are or have an alpha gamer in your group then this game may not be for you. But if not check it out!

This game makes you truly feel like you are in survivor mode
This is one of the few games I have ever played where have I never really felt like I was, "winning" until the game is over. You feel like you are just scraping by pretty much the entire time, which considering the theme of the game, is perfect. I know nothing about the Robinson Crusoe theme, but I still love the game. So if you dig the theme and you like coop board games then you will definitely enjoy this game.

An intense thematic and worker placement adventure on a deserted island
Robinson Crusoe is an immersive co-operative board game that imitates surviving on a desert island through the use of worker placement.

Firstly, this board game is not for everyone. Winning the game is quite a challenge and players must work together to achieve any victory. Its difficult could turn players away.

Player's face various survival scenarios and must manage their resources, explore the island, build tools, and survive against mother nature before time runs out. It truly makes you feel like you are in a fight for survival with each decision.

Lots of options as well with different scenarios, characters (and abilities), board variations, and tools.

The only drawback are the rules. They are quite confusing and it is best to head to Z-Man games for the errata rules which more clearly explain how to play.

So grab your fellow survivors and get ready to face off against nature itself.
