Beautiful and Easy to Play
This is a great game that is easy to play. Perfect for any group as there is no advantage to having played before. No matter how many times I play it, I still enjoy it. The art on the cards is absolutely beautiful. Only downside if is you play frequently with the same group of people, it will get repetitive. Luckily, there are plenty of expansions.

Easy to learn, quick to play
A thoughtful game of imaginative pictures, requiring making creative statements from pop culture, music, movies, books, art, sports, and just everyday life - then guessing how others think!

A simple scoring system makes for a quick game to pass some time. The game is very basic - cards, scoring tokens, guessing tokens. Very fun for family and friends. This very friendly play - not competitive.

Good game if yuo have right group
I have played this game and had a ton of fun with it and have played it and it was a complete disaster. In my experience, it is all dependent on the gaming group you are playing with. I still believe this to be a good game, but being dependent on certain people can diminish its ability to hit the table consistently.

Enjoyable
I don't really liked that much the game because my friends do not understand my clues xD

But the game is really good! Fun, creative, enjoyable at 100%!

I would recommend to play it with very creative people so it can be even more fun!

Quick to teach, fun to play with the right group!
3-6 Players (Creative players make the game more fun)

Game can take 20-40 minutes

Pros:
Quick game
Easy to learn
Great Art work
Encourages creativity
Lots of expansions
Great Filler Game

Cons:
After so many games the pictures repeat and replay value with the same group diminishes. You'll need to buy expansions.
Helps to have quick wits and creativity, I have played with people that took 5-10 to get through their turn (painful)!

Overall: Fun, easy and helps to open the mind! Enjoy!

Fun, artsy, family filled game.
Dixit works so well for so many occasions; family game night, a gamers table, fun with co-workers etc. I shy away from making game recommendations as leisure and entertainment is always relative, but Dixit I will recommend without hesitation.

Each player starts off with 7 artsy cards in hand, he/she picks one, says aloud a clue word or sentence describing that card, then everyone other player picks a card in his/her which best resembles that clue. All cards are mixed together, players score points if they correctly guess the storytellers card, and if another player picks their card instead of the story tellers, or if no one correctly guesses the story tellers card, while the story teller can only score points if one or more players guess accurately (while not scoring any point if all players guess correctly).

The one con here, is after 6 to 8 plays throughs the cards can get a bit dull and repetitive. Hence, you're lured into buying lots and lots of expansions decks. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing with Dixit =)

Great Art and my Favorite Party Game
Fun game that you can teach in 5 minutes. Impressive how such a simple game can be so entertaining. The biggest flaw in this game is that it needs more cards. After a couple plays you have seen all the cards and make the same connections with the artwork if you are playing with the same group. Or worse... you are playing with some of the same group so you can give the same clues for your card and you are guaranteed to have at least one person pick it.

Imagination gone wild!
Probably one of the better games where imagination is needed greatly. I love the fact, you can think of things for each picture differently every time. The fact you can do that is just awesome, always different

Great little game
Great game to have for your non gaming company or family, it is easy to learn and enjoyable to play. Works also with your gaming group as it is great while you are between games as a quick, relaxing, fun and interesting way to learn how your friends see things from their perspective.

Beautiful art
The mechanics of Dixit are similar to games like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity, where one player (the storyteller) picks a card from their hand and places it face down on the table while describing the card with a short phrase. All other players play a card from their hand, face down. The cards are all shuffled together and players vote for the card they think belongs to the storyteller. Now, the interesting part is that if all players vote for the card that the storyteller picked, then the storyteller gets 0 points, but the storyteller also gets 0 points if nobody votes for their card!

The point of Dixit is to try to describe your card in a sweet balance between precision and vagueness so only some players can guess what's your card.

It's worth mentioning that Dixit has big, high quality, beautiful cards. The art in the cards is definitely excellent. We haven't played this game enough in my group to get tired of the art or to feel that the game plays always the same yet, but that will eventually happen. The solution is simple: get Dixit expansions for more beautiful cards!
