Get 2, Run Brobots.
The IG-2000 comes with 4 unique pilots that can synergize with each other by the use of the title included. The ship really needs to be flow together with another IG-2000, so pick up a second one to double the fun.

a very different ship....
at first glance, I didn't care for the design of this model. it looks like something that doesn't quite fit into the Star Wars universe. once I got over that. I focused on the diversity of this guy. depending on your set up, this thing can be super agile, a heavy hitter or if you have mulitple, a force to be feared! the reason for this is that two of the "IG" pilots can share attributes. so each one can use the others special ability. That alone is worth the price of admission!

Brobots are scary Moffs
I think you probably need to get two copies of this ship if you really want to get it's full potential. The ships are crazy maneuverable for a ship with a big base and has crazy agility as well. Coupled with that, the brobots get to share their pilot abilities....sick!!!

You'll want two.
The IG-2000 is a very capable ship. Each of the pilot cards included have a special ability, which is fairly unique to X-Wing the Miniatures game. Typically, a ship includes generic pilots who have no special ability. With these pilot abilities and their high number of upgrade slots, the IG-2000 can become a fearsome attacker, a hard to hit evader, or fly like a snub fighter. The ship is very diverse and very capable.

If you are looking for an addition to your collection, the model is a very unique sculpt. It doesn’t look like any of the other ships that have been released. This ship will definitely stand out on a display case next to other X-Wing miniatures. I found this particular model to feel “cheaper” than others released by FFG. The ship is small (even though it is considered a large ship and has a large base), and is very light. It appears to be constructed by 2 pieces of plastic glued at the seam (seam on mine is very visible). This ship sells for the same exact price as the Millennium falcon. Yet the Falcon has articulation and various different plates glued to the model to give it realistic texture. The IG, in comparison, doesn’t look as real or detailed, and it’s smaller in size.

The IG-2000 is also designed to work best if you purchase multiple copies. Included is an upgrade that allows any IG-2000 to share its pilot’s special ability with any other IG-2000. This means that if you are going to play the IG-2000, and want to get access to the best ship you can, you really need to own 2 copies of this expansion. The IG-2000 duo (called “BroBots” by the x-wing community) is a very capable team, and a lot of fun to fly. Only 2 IG-2000 ships can fit into X-Wing’s standard 100 point game, so you probably do not need to purchase more than 2 IG-2000s unless you plan on playing in Epic games, or want multiple copies of some of the upgrades included.

I really enjoy this ship, and the expansion’s upgrade cards are a lot of fun. I suggest buying 2 if you are looking to play with them competitively. While it’s not required, you miss out on some functionality of the ships if you only fly one. Due to the discrepancy between the quality of this model and other models in the same price range, as well as the need for 2 copies of this expansion in order to use all the upgrade cards included, I have docked a point from “Value” and Quality (though it pains me to do so, as most expansions for X-Wing the Miniatures games have received 5 starts across the board from me). Otherwise, I think the expansion is great, and despite these gripes, I really enjoy owning and flying my IG-2000s.

Must Have!!!
As everybody else has said this is an amazing ship. Most popular when played in pairs but can provide a solid center piece for any list. The possibilities are endless when thinking of the combinations for this ship. I would recommend buying 2

Best when purchased in multiples
While one copy of this expansion will definitely add value to your collection, the 'IG-2000' title included works only when you are able to include more than one ship with the title on your team. This means that for 100-point play, 2 copies of the expansion are best, and for epic, 4 (since each pilot is unique and there are only 4 pilots available).

The upgrades included are also great in multiple, especially the bomb upgrades and the Feedback Array illicit upgrade. As this expansion is currently the only source for Feedback Array, if you want to build the popular Bug Zapper Z-95 swarm, this is one of the expansions you need.

If you play scum, you must buy this ship (or two)
The Aggressor is one of the best ships in the game, hands down. Whether you run one with a Firespray, a Z-95 swarm, or a second Aggressor, it's going to be a central feature of a lot of your lists. The upgrades it comes with make it even more worth buying!

good...not for me
In theory I love the idea behind this ship...4 different versions of the same bounty hunter IG-88. I would love to run them altogether, but they just aren't that competitive on the table. Still a fun ship, but there are better options for Scum

love having it.
the aggressor is fantastic as a multipurpose pure devistaing fighter. i call it a fighter even though its still technically a large ship. bu.t its a fighter for the pure mobility that it offers anfd the firepower that it can bring to the table. two cannons a bomb and system upgrades. theses droid piloted ships are devisting and even more so when u have two in a build. the abilaty to bounce of each others abilities with the ig-2000 upgrade card which cost zero squad points is true evil by the scum an villiany faction. this is a well worth purchase.

A Fantastic addition to the Scum faction!
The IG-2000 is a wonderful addition to the Scum and Villainy faction in X-wing. It's a uniquely designed ship in that it can share abilities with additional copies of the same ship! Robot hive-mind style. It's one of the few expansions I've immediately purchased 2 of right away, and I've never regretted it! An outstanding product!

Oh dem Bro-bots!
I picked up two of these and the game play has been fantastic. Throw a couple of heavy laser cannons on them and it is hard to go wrong. Depending on who you line up against you can straight up joust (and wreck) or if it strikes your fancy arc dodge to you hearts content. While you are easier to block as a large ship the maneuverability of this ship is fantastic. If you are thinking about getting one or two ships, get two!

Good expansion, not the best, but one of the better ships to buy
Bro bots is a top list, and it takes two of these. Aside from that its fun to fly in a casual setting. The build quality doesn't seem to be quite as good as some of my other ships, but nothing that effects play, just a minor complaint.

Life Support is for the weak
Dual IGs is a pretty fun build. The Pilot perk swap was a cool mechanic I couldn't wait to try. LOVE the model for these. I had to plead my case with my group , They didn't like how small it was. Not all of us are Die Hard Wars fans. So once it was discussed and everyone understood how much room life support systems require....The IGs gained a silent respect.

Fun ship, but had more fun with the cards
Though I love to use this ship any chance I get while playing the Scum faction, I enjoy using the Dead Man's Switch more. As this card allows for the destroyed ship to cause damage to any ships within range one of it. This for me adds a bit more fun as your hit points start to dwindle, you must decide where to place it before it receives the final blow.

Great ship and great upgrades.
This is (so far) the only big ship that can use AutoThrusters. Get two of these ships, equip their title cards which allow the two pilots to share their abilities with each other, and you've got a pretty tough duo.

If you're playing with the Scum & Villainy in X-Wing, you will likely want at least two of these.
If you're playing with the Scum & Villainy in X-Wing, you will likely want at least two of these. "Brobots" (ie, two IG-2000s paired with Aggressor titles) are supremely capable ships in the current game. With high agility, cannons, and the ability to equip the powerful "Autothrusters" upgrade from the StarViper expansion pack, they are fast, fun and extraordinarily difficult ships to pin down and destroy.

Even if you don't plan on using them directly with S&V, you'll probably still want them as the game's only source of the powerful "Feedback Array" upgrade. This upgrade, which allows you to deal damage without requiring an attack roll, pairs very well with the Z-95 Headhunters found in the Most Wanted expansion pack and allows them to create large no-fly zone when fighting the agile Interceptors common in Imperial fleets.

Brings a new strategy for Scum & Villainy
The ship is a great addition to the S&V faction. Although not as large as the falcon or most big ships. It's still pretty big. Strategy wise, it is recommended to buy 2 or more of these since the IG2-000 ship cards allows you to copy the other IG-88's abilities.

Nice addition to the game!
I thought it would be bigger for a large base ship but that isn't an issue. Lots of stuff in the box including a new mission that makes me want to grab a second one of these ships when I can. Detailed figure, feels pretty sturdy so parts shouldn't pop off like they do on Slave One and a few other ships. I can't wait to face my friends with this!
