- Great Flexible caster.

Many people will tell you how good Signs and Portents is. Its one of the best Army wide buff spells in the game no doubt, but Vlad has a great flexibilty in his spell list that give him great variety. With boundless charge and his feat for instance Vlad can load a jack and rocket it 13+Melee distance away at a target.
Wind Wall is a saving grace against some of the more annoying shooty lists such as Ravyn's Will of the Nine.
Lastly he has such a strong personal presence later in that he himself can easily end the game with Blessing of Kings.
He is my recommended caster always for new players since he is simple yet has layer of complexity and inner workings you learn as you develop.Game Play Quality Price Value - Signs and portents is great!

Vlad is good, really good. He has excellent synergy with winter guard infantry and Beast 09. Drago and Berserkers also work well with him of course. Signs and portents allows you a better chance at hitting, while Blood of Kings makes Vlad a melee monster or a defensive beast.
