Once a respected nautical warcaster for the Mercarian League, Captain Phinneus Shae has turned to piracy aboard the Talion. Shae is wanted but refuses to allow the bounty on his head to get in the way of earning a profit as a sword for hire. His powers over wind and storm serve as well on land as at sea, and few can stand against him blade to blade.

Miniatures are supplied unpainted. Preparation and assembly may be required.

If you like Pirates, Shae is the Warcaster for you!
Shae is an amazingly fun caster to play because of his cool Tier List, "A Pirate's Life." Shae is the captain of the Talion and has the most devastating artillery piece in the game, The Commodore Cannon which can only be taken by Shae. His lists play like an infantry spam but Shae has tricks to get them up the field faster and gives them some protection and pathfinder on the first turn. While your pirate army charges forward you will have either a Galleon or a combo of 3 Heavy Warjacks backing them up along with the Commodore Cannon.

The Storm Ranger spell makes him or First Mate Hawk quite deadly and Coup De Main will give your army that extra threat range you need to get first strike on your opponent.

He is a fun and very competitive Warcaster!

If Only He Wasn't So Restricted
Shae is a great caster with some really cool abilities. And his ability to take the Commodore Cannon bumps him up into the upper eschelon of awesome casters.

But the problem that prevents him from really being amazing is that he only works in either his theme lists or in Talion Charter. So that means most of the solos or units that would really make him shine or have cool combos are unavailable to him. Wish he saw more table time, but with such limited options to use he only comes out once in a blue moon during friendly games.
