D&D Icons of the Realms Miniatures: Rage of Demons - Booster Case (32)

Product Review (submitted on September 11, 2015):
They must've shipped mine out of a different set from other reviews, because most of mine look fantastic. I think it looks better than the last set. There are a couple, notably the "ghost" models, that look terrible. The Banshee especially is comically bad. For some reason, they felt the need to draw a face on the ghost, but all they had available was clown makeup.

The rarity distribution has been weakened for this set. For the first two sets, every two boxes included one rare. So buying a sealed "brick" (8 boxes) would yield 4 rares - 2 mediums, 1 large, and 1 "invisible" variant. With this set, each brick contains only 3 rares. And they still include "invisible" variants among them, but not in every brick. (The case I bought had 2 of them.) There also seem to be more rares in the set this time. For the first two sets, I bought a sealed case and got a complete set from it, excepting the invisible duplicates. This time, there are 5 additional rares that I'll have to buy separately. (I already have a full case worth of duplicate commons and uncommons, so I'm certainly not going to be buying any more blind packs to try to find them. If their plan was for me to buy more boxes to get a full set, then it didn't work.)

The figure distribution is still even, though. There were 4-5 of each common, ~3 of each uncommon, and 1 each of most of the rares.

I won't address singles prices, as this page is for a case. I only paid about $2.35 apiece, and I think that's pretty good. Wizkids doesn't set prices for the secondary market. I do think $16 retail for a blind box of 4 minis is high, but that's why I buy a case.
