This is one of the best miniatures I picked up for painting with my friends. For several of them having never painted miniatures, this one provided a fairly easy canvas and looked great after a few coats of paint. I painted one myself, and just fell in love with the design. I have been trying to practice my highlighting techniques, and this elven mage has plenty of folds and not so small details to paint.

Looks great as a PC or even as a wizard NPC, and I would recommend for a first time painter, since it is very easy to work with.
