Regular Pandemic will never been the same again. The game combines the Pandemic system with a story told in chapters as the game's rules slowly morph, as the board is constantly marked with the scars (and progress?) of previous games. It's an exciting journey filled with unexpected turns.
But unlike a video game where you can go back and replay the journey with a new character, and try out new tactics or decisions, you can't do that here. When a month is over, it's over. I found myself wondering how we'd do if we tried different roles, made different end-game choices. Handled the events in another way. We'll never know. That's my only regret. I only get to play it once.
