Final Wasteland is an environment set heavy on creatures from paranormal folklore. In my experience, it plays almost like a third faction as the cryptids will attack heroes and villains alike. This can make for an interesting dynamic as savvy players may be able to ensure the cryptids attack the villains but ignoring the environment too long can turn disastrous if the monsters end up focusing on the heroes.
