Blood Rage

Blood Rage

Product Review (submitted on November 16, 2018):
Box of toys. There isn't much strategy to be had, very little in the way of planning and almost no interesting objectives to accomplish. There is truly more weight in your average game of risk. This is ok if you just want to clash with miniatures, but even then, by the time you actually get the mega-sweet giant on the board in the third age, you get one move with it and in anticlimactic fashion.... the game ends. I love me some high quality minis in a game, but I also step back and ask "would this game be so highly praised if I replaced the minis with wooden blocks?" In some games (scythe for example) the answer is yes, while in blood rage, the answer is no. Also, that you can gain some points by dying in battle doesn't save the fact that battles are tiny, predictable, and just not very exciting. Sold after about 7 plays.
