D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Unpainted Minis: W8 Young Copper Dragon

Product Review (submitted on May 8, 2019):
This is in response to the first review on the young dragon... Use a different base? I seriously don't even see a problem here. I don't even use the bases that come with WizKids figures. I use the "reaper" bases which are about 1/8" thick and "hollow". I stick some magnets in there to make them stick to metal and add weight. I have piles of 2" bases sitting around. WK don't even keep it a secret that the base is oversized, so it isn't even a case of false advertising.

Ideally they should have included the proper base and the larger base, but as it's a difference of maybe 50 cents, I can't get upset about this, never mind be "extremely disappointed". I would have been disappointed if I got a 2" scale figure, which normally sells for $5.

Anyway, he's a beautiful figure. Can't wait to paint him and his bros. I'm tempted to get his dad, the Pathfinder "gargantuan" red dragon, which is 4 inches, but that might be too big to paint in a reasonable timeframe and he costs more than double.
