Charlie cut his gaming teeth on Axis and Allies in his youth before moving on to a 15 year span of playing tabletop RPGs. Giving up the pencil and paper for dice and miniatures, he's been heavily involved in the board game scene reviewing and recently even designing. He prefers thematic titles with a strong narrative and plenty of drama.

After a few dalliances with Dungeons & Dragons as a kid, Raf really dove into the world of tabletop gaming about 3 years ago and hasn't wanted to come up for air yet. When he isn't trying to prevent leaks and spills at a chemical plant in the Chicago area, he's busy playing any game he can get his hands on though generally prefers games with rich themes and tight mechanics to back them up.

Raf and Charlie met online at BoardGameGeek.com and met up with a weekend of gaming at Geekway 2014. Finding a similar zeal for games set in fantastical worlds full of plastic miniatures and chance cubes, Ding & Dent was born out of a desire to share their discussions about the games they were playing and the hobby at large.
