Jason Meyers was bitten by the gaming bug as a young teen with the iconic Risk, the legendary MB GameMasters Series, and stodgy titles from Avalon Hill and SPI. After college, he drifted from the cardboard only to return circa 2010 when a chance reunion with his old copy of Axis & Allies re-ignited an interest in gaming – especially as a means to enjoy quality time with his kids. He especially likes thematic games with lots of action and shiny chrome. An historian by training, but accountant by trade, he can often be found in the corner, depressed from counting other peoples’ money. Jason is married, with two boys and two girls, and he and his wife are also foster parents. All that said, playing games helps him to maintain his sanity…relatively speaking.
