Para Bellum Wargames
38mm (1:46 scale)
Among those who receive the mixed sacrament of St Lazarus there are always a few in whom the flame of justice burns too brightly. In them, Kleon's blessing shines especially bright, but some unknown interaction brutally accelerates the progression of their disease. Stronger, and even more driven than their Penitent brethren, these warriors are all but unstoppable on the battlefield, running ahead of their steadfast brethren, their savage assault often breaking the morale of the enemy before the armies have even properly engaged.
How they Play in First Blood: Unleash these afflicted warriors upon the foe so they may bring ruin to those who stand before the Hundred Kingdoms. Flailing and flagellating through the enemy battleline, armor and flesh is sundered alike before death puts an end to their ceaseless assault.
How they Play in The Last Argument of Kings (TLAOK): Light vanguard troops, the Martyrs rush ahead of the main force to deliver devastating strikes against enemy formations. Walls of shields mean very little against a determined wrecking ball . . .
