Pride has ever been the flaw of the Spires and their rulers. But few manifestations of this pride can match the sheer magnitude of the arrogance required to commission a set of Avatara husks designed to be 'dragon hunters'. The sheer hubris of their actions was revealed after the appearance of the elder Dragons and the immediate capitulation of the Spires in light of their overwhelming superiority.
