In the Winter of 1348, Italy is shivering with the slow, relentless advance of the plague, which recently made its way into Florence. A few days ride to the south-east, stands Orvieto, Urbs Vetus, the Old City.
After diving in millennia-old tunnels and wells, the Drifters venture into a tangle of alleys haunted by otherwordly creatures, and make their way through sacrilegious celebrations and ancient pagan rites. They follow an Omen about families at war, templar orders, and horrors buried beneath the knoll.
The Old City is the first official self-contained adventure for the Memento Mori role-playing game. This book will provide all the information and tools you need to play through a story lasting 6 game sessions. The adventure is designed for groups of 3 to 6 people (one of whom is the Narrator) who will have to unravel a dark mystery set in medieval Italy.
Inside you will find new opponentes and new characters that will guide you to the darkened heart of Memento Mori, where the Drifters’ Dream is the only light shining over the final moments before the end.
