What are you waiting for, partner?

This starter set has everything needed to play:
  • Three 16-page booklets walk the players (and a new GM) through an iconic adventure that starts off with the basics, and then layers on new rules and situations until everyone is fully up to speed.
  • Everything is explained as it comes up, but a fourth booklet acts as a reference for all the rules if they come out out of order.
  • Six archetypical heroes of the Weird West, with a variety of abilities and powers. All the information the player needs is on one sturdy card. Each hero with magic comes with their own individual Power Cards.
  • Recruitable characters have cards for the players to use and the opponents also appear on cards for the convenience of the game master.
  • Six sheets of thick, precut cardboard pawns. These pawns cover the player's archetypes, eight innocent bystanders, over a dozen dangerous bandits suitable for any showdown, and one massive monster. In addition, the sheets contain all the tokens needed for player, punch out templates for spell effects, and fantastic train peices usable with the included maps for the adventure's scenarios or many more.
  • Four fold-out Battle Maps show the lay of the land on all the encounters within the included adventure.
  • These iconic locations are useful for new adventures, and can be combined with the pawns and train cars above.
  • A deck of 52 playing cards. Deadlands and Savage Worlds use a standard poker deck for initiative and a few subsystems.
  • Seven polyhedral dice. All the dice required for play: a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, plus an extra alternate d6, called a Wild Die.
