Welcome to the weirdly delightful world of Victorian greeting cards!
Does your card unsettle small children? Unimportant! Does it bear the slightest relation to the holiday it purports to celebrate? Entirely beside the point! It's time to submit your cards to the Editor-in-Chief and compete against your rivals to become the next rising star of the Sowersby Greeting Card Company.
Victorian Greeting Card Showdown is played over a series of rounds. During a round, each player secretly submits the Greeting Card they think best matches that round's Assignment. Then the Editor-in-Chief reveals the submissions, players vote with their Yay and Nay cards, and the Editor-in-Chief chooses that round's winner, who gets 1 point for having the winning submission.
