Crank up the voltage in Power Failure, an electrifying card game in which you race to build the most productive grid. Up to four players compete to meet rising demand by acquiring resources, building power plants, and activating them to generate energy. Power production is inherently volatile, though, as rash individuals risk environmental catastrophes that set everyone back. The player who provides the bustling city with the most megawatts wins!
Power Failure is a tableau-building, dexterity game of energy production. Players take 3 actions on their turns to build and use different kinds of power plants. Depending on their actions and the type of plants they operate, they'll be forced to stack blocks on the Carbon Tower, risking consequences for everyone when the tower falls. Players must manage risk while racing to complete energy contracts.

Simple fun energy builder
Power Failure does a good job at letting you have a quick race to power cities with power plants that either produce a lot of energy with more risky pollution or less energy with less pollution. Even though the pollution is not so punishing, you're still pushed to control it with a tower of carbon blocks that slow you down if it topples.

Fun race puzzle with a bit of dexterity
Power failure is one of my groups favorite short games as were able to get a light but puzzley card game out and still feel like we’re playing a full board game. I was worried that the dexterity aspect might take away from the game but it actually enhanced it and added a sense of tension around the table that was so much fun. Highly recommend

Power Failure filler game
This game is a great filler game and also has a small foot print. You can play this camping, at cons, the pub or at your friends. It has a push your luck as well as a little strategy. It's a fun game.
