As the commodore of a Space Base, your job is to draft new ships into your fleet to work and patrol the 12 sectors under your watch. Use cargo vessels, mining ships, and deploy carriers to earn profits and expand your influence. Only one Space Base commodore will be promoted to U.E.S. Admiral of the Fleet.
Space Base is a dice game where players draft ships into their Space Base. Every turn, no matter whose turn, players harvest rewards from their Space Base, whether those rewards are an increase in your baseline income, credits for next turn, influence, or some other powerful effect that will lead you to victory. Space Base has you involved and engaged on every player's turn, from the first roll of the dice to the last!

Space Base
All players are invested in each player's turn with the dice rolls. Every game is different with the available ships in the purchase rows. Scales well for any number of players. Similar to Machi Koro, but most people we play with enjoy Space Base better.

Instant Classic
I love Space Base! It was an instant must have. It is fast and easy to learn, and it gets better every time I play. If my buddies and I find ourselves stuck on what to play, we break this out to get going again. Highly recommend!

Awesome game
An incredibly fun engine builder with near infinite replayability. Aesthetically beautiful, too. Great in-person game since each roll can affect your resource generation so there’s never a dull moment.

Great all around game!
Great light weight game for families and people just getting into board games, but also comes with depth and strategy for more heavy weight players.

Great easy family game
Was looking for a simple family game for those that aren't into the hardcore games. Benefits here are that there are no secrets (so it is easy to help other players make decisions), uses dice (more attractive for those used to Monopoly-style games), each player takes an action on everyone's turn (less downtime for other players), and enough of a random element that everyone has a chance at winning. Easy to set up. Plays in under an hour. BGG Weight of ~2.1 is easy enough for most to pick up.

This review is short and sweet, like the game!
Space Base is a great, light dice-chucking game where players buy cards and manage their income and victory point engine. This game works best at 3-4 players, but is playable at all player counts. I like that it is quick to teach new players, light, and a game can be played in around 30-40 minutes generally. The cons are that its not got tons of depth (in the base game) and the winner is either the person with the best random card draws or whoever gets hot with the dice. All in all, a great lightweight game!

A party game for gamers!
With the amount of players you can have, this is a game I love playing with people who KNOW games! Too often party games are for casual gamers and can disengage my play group. This works wonders!

Fun family dice game
Have just played this a couple of times but we enjoyed it. I recommend starting with the light speed variant otherwise the beginning of the game drags on a little too much.

The thing I didn't like was the un-standard card size and how hard was to find the sleeves for them
