Star Wars: Legion - Shadow Collective Starter Set

The value in this box is great in my opinion. You have enough to play skirmish games with the Shadow Collective right out of the box. Three different commanders (if you give Maul the Darksaber) gives you some variety right out of the gate. Two corps choices in the Pike Syndicate foot soldiers and Black Sun enforcers give you the required corps units for your skirmish list. The Black Sun give you a little more punch with Precise 1 and Independent Aim 1, while the Pike Syndicate give you more of a survivable and longer range unit with Danger Sense 2, Outmanuever, Independent Dodge 1, and range 3 guns. Rounding out the box is a special forces unit in the Mandalorian super commandos. The commandos offer both an offensive and defensive unit with a great mix of heavy weapon upgrades, combat shields, and jetpack rockets. Red defense dice with surge to block, Impervious, Defend 1, and combat shields give them a lot of staying power. Independent Aim 1, jetpack rockets, and their heavy weapon upgrades (especially Rook Kast if you take them with Maul) give them a solid offensive punch as well. I would definitely recommend this box. Maybe even two.

This kit is great for building up your Shadow Collective forces. You get 4 units of mercenaries that can be used in other factions. The sculpts are beautifully detailed using hard plastic on sprues.

This is a gift for my son. I usually get him one of this brand every year. So there you go, he loves all the products I get him from Miniature Market. And I was excited about the price of Star Wars : Legion Shadow Collective Starter Set. Best value around.

Lots of miniatures at a good price. Can make a skirmish list out of the box and 2 boxes is a great start to a full sized army.

This is a great set. One of the first sets from Legion that has sprues for the figures. I love that the poses are so customizable. And there’s a lot in the box for your armies.

With the price increase on most of the miniature products, this is the best value if you want to start collecting a different army in star wars or starting the game. 2 boxes is recommended and you would need the dice, measuring tools to play the game with a friend. It is a great game to get into and a fantastic alternative to warhammer

The minis are fantastic just like all the other minis in the game. These are on the sprue and are hard plastic. My favorite models in the game are Maul and the Mauldalorians Mandalorian super commandos. The only downside is there are no physical instructions in the box. You scan a QR code and pull them up on your phone.

I was really excited to see a new faction added to the game play. Like other Legion sets the models are very well detailed and have some great poses. I liked the QR code for build instructions.

Great way to get into Legion if you're thinking of joining. The stater units play great on their own and hold up well against lists with equal point values

Allow me the start by saying this is a solid start given where the army is, gives you all the base stuff to play as the shadow collective. Personally, id recommend buying 2, they're that solid. 👌
