Manufacturer: Army Painter

The Monster Brush has the right size for any larger models such as Dragons, Trolls, Warmachines and Vehicles. This brush is made from the finest Toray synthetic due to the fact that a sable brush of this size could potentially drown a miniature in paint - whereas the Toray releases the paint slower. This brush has a triangular handle for better grip.

Good Large Brush

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I like this brush. It holds a lot of paint, keeps a reasonable tip, and spreads paint evenly. It's quite big, somewhere around a #4.

Brush

Pretty solid brush and belly. Some of the synthetic hairs were bent because no cap protector was on it and it was in a Manila envelope unsecured.

good price and a nice point

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

works very well and holds a nice point, would have given 5 Stars but surprisingly it doesn’t hold that much paint.

Great for basecoating large miniatures.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I was able to bang out basecoating in roughly 15 minutes on a 135cm model with this monsters. I wouldn’t let use it for detailing but it helped to speed up my painting for sure.

I've never been a fan of the Army Painter regiment brush, but the monster brush is excellent. Prefect size for putting on base coats and washes, and it's surprisingly well suited for accuracy when you need it. Plus its big belly keeps you going longer with fewer trips to the palette. Great value!
