Best primer for painting wood and underpainting miniatures

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Versatile. It's a flat medium brown, useful for basecoating, underpainting, zenithal priming, etc. For zenithal priming, prime with a darker color (eg. black or flat camouflage dark brown) then spray with Leather Brown.

Use it for my Old West Projects

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This speeds up my painting quite a bit, and I use it mainly for my Old West buildings. Occasionally, I use them on a miniature, mostly mounted troops, and it has worked well for that too.Hit your buildings with a coat of this, wait to dry, then add some black and green ink, then dry brush with shades of brown and some gray. Done.
