Really nice under coat primer
This is a great color to use as an undercoat primer for painted miniatures. The deep red is a nice change from just using black for shaded areas and complements the highlights on a model.

Great under brown tones
This dark, brownish red is great for interesting shadows on models with brown/earth tones. And, with matching paint pots, but you can easily bring the shadows back if needed.
