The monsters circling around Avel Castle, and especially the approaching Beast, are a real danger for the people of this land. It's not surprising then that everyone wants to help with the battle. Craftsmen are crafting items, dwarves are building siege machines, and herbalists invent new recipes and boil potions. Even the wildness people will join the battle if you can prove your bravery by defeating monsters. Use their help and together protect Avel Castle!

The characters created by you will get new, useful items and will have a chance to discover unknown corners of the land and all the possibilities they present. The expansion also introduces new monsters - if you manage to defeat them, you might be able to get the favor of animal companions who will gladly give you their helpful paw. . .or wings, if you need them.

Great addition
This is a fun addition to the Chronicles of Avel base game. It's nice to have additional items and monsters to add to the base game.

Good addition, wish there was a little more than just the few tiles but for the price, difficult to complain.

Fun add-on
Adding the companions is not such a significant add-on if you don't draw the minions that have them captured, but they're a useful upgrade to the character if you do. The ballistas though are right there to be used as an additional useful defense to take a jab at any adjacent baddies by itself, including the big one, at the beginning of the turn. So, overall, with the boots and extra items as well, it is a great add on for the game!

A great addition
This pack offers some nice additional accessories, including boots, which are a must to run around the board. The extra monsters are fun, and the animal companions are great too. A good mini expansion.
