October 1888: During the construction of the Metropolitan Police headquarters near Whitehall, which would later be known as Scotland Yard, the remains of a body were found. Was this the work of Jack the Ripper? Or is there another murderer roaming the streets of London?

The identity of this monster and his unfortunate victim remain a mystery: the Whitehall Mystery.

Whitehall Mystery is a refined game of deduction and bluffing set in the London of Jack the Ripper. Three London investigators are hot on the heels of a dangerous murderer who seems to be trying to emulate the horrors of Whitechapel!

In the dense network of streets, alleyways, and waterways, the hunt for the mysterious killer begins.

Suspense and mystery, both well executed! (Pun intended)

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This game is an absolute thriller to play! I have played both as Jack and as the investigators and both are uniquely challenging and enjoyable (I prefer the challenge of playing Jack :D). We played 1v1 and 1v3 and found that 1v1 is good if you are looking for a head-to-head challenge similar to chess, but where only half the pieces are visible. 1v3 is good if the investigators are looking to work together as a team, collaborating in their pursuit. I enjoyed 1v1 slightly more when playing as the investigators since I was able to make moves fairly quickly and stay focused, but 1v3 was more fun as Jack as you can try to confuse the conversation and cause the group to lose focus as they try to chase you down. All-in-all, an excellent choice for anyone who is looking for a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat with your heart racing!

Fun and tense hidden role game for Halloween!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I first learned of this game on YouTube watching No Rolls Barred and I fell in love with it instantly. Great components, the board and screen are perfectly sized so it doesn't take up too much room, and there aren't many pieces to it. It's just a few cards and player tokens. Definitely a great thematic hidden role game to play during spooky season!

Hidden Movement Gem

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This is a hidden movement game that doesn’t try to be anything else. A perfect blend of simplicity and intensity. Simple, as in clear goals for each player, but by no means a kid’s game or mindless gaming. It is a chase of wits. I prefer this 1 v 1, but you can play with more people searching for the killer.

Wowed!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

I was skeptical about this game but it was well received at game night. My heart was pounding in the role of Jack as the police closed in on me ready to strike. It's easy to teach and play as the hidden movement mechanic works well to add depth and strategic complexity to a solid game. The rules are well written and do not require a ton of research to sort out ambiguity. Great components built for longevity. If I were to have to say anything negative about the game it would be that I don't like that it makes me want to spend more money for the other games in the Whitehall line-up to enrich an already great game.

Hidden movement

This hidden movement game is simple in it's complexity yet draws you in. Great gateway game into this type of game. Will hold a very long term spot in my game collection.
