Makes the game way better
I thought this game was a wonderful extension of the original game and made all my decisions more in-depth.

First Impressions
This expansion adds a lot of elements to the game, and therefore some complexity. It provides a money sink for coins as well as a mechanic for players to avoid taking a card from the tableau, both of which address the two main shortcomings of a practically perfect game. However, Pantheon does change the overall gameplay somewhat and the game is a little less tight and neat when played with the expansion, so I have some mixed feelings about it. The gods are mostly well-balanced, except for the Egyptian ones, which seem a little too powerful compared to the rest. Overall, I'm pleased with this expansion, but I can see myself omitting it every now and again for the vanilla Duel experience.

Pantheon adds enough to make the gameplay more interesting without taking anything away.
