Improved Version
I have owned a copy of the 1st edition for many years, and it has been played many times. This is a game that is relatively simple in terms of rules, quick to play (usually under an hour), and supports up to 7 players. This 2nd edition is probably not worth buying if you already own the 1st, just for the small changes, unless, like me, you are also buying the new edition of one or more expansions. Though most of the cards use the same art, the cards are laid out differently, effectively increasing the size of the art. They also put everything you need to reference in the top inch or so of the card, allowing you to tuck it under your wonder or other cards without issue. The card faces seem brighter, and while I preferred the darker esthetic of the old ones, these are definitely easier to see. The reverse side of the cards are very different--they have metallic patterns (in copper, silver, and gold colors for the three ages) on a black background. I really like the look because it is reminiscent of the kind of art we see on ancient greek pottery. The wonder boards are larger, and have undergone slight changes mechanically for ease of play and balance. Instead of having an A side and a B side, they have a day side and a night side, which is not only prettier, but makes them easier to identify. The only downside of the new version, in my opinion, is that it doesn't include matching wonder cards for distributing the wonders randomly. It also lacks 2 player support, but the game isn't really well balanced for two players anyway--go for 7 Wonders Duel if you want that.

A classic board game with a fresh coat of paint. If you already own the first edition, the minute changes made in the second edition might not be enough to justify upgrading. But if this is your first time with 7 Wonders, this is considered by most of the gaming community as a staple for most collections, or at least to play at least once. What more is there to say?

Classic game. A bit overpriced for what’s in the box but it’s nice to have for bigger play groups.

Definitely worth the money even if you own the 1st edition, as I did
This is my top, most favorite board game, partially because it has the most players. This edition has improvements over the first edition, including the Decorators Guild (7 points if you built all stages of your Wonder) replacing the Strategists Guild. The biggest challenge I have found is making use of Olympia's second stage for both the Day and the Night sides. Also, you are allowed to buy each resource symbol ONLY ONCE each turn! This is the biggest difference between the editions, as the rules for the first edition had no such specification. This means that if a stage of your Wonder has three of one resource, you MUST invest in a 1-coin double resource card in Age II and either a one-resource card or a Trading Post in Age I (if you want to buy the resource for one coin instead of two). That said, I have nothing else but praise for this new edition! There is a new card, Ludus, in Age III that gives you 3 coins and 1 point for each military card you have. Castrum is another new card, which gives three shields in Age III. 7 Wonders is a game you never truly master because every game is different. A slight change, such as the swapping of the locations of two Wonders, will make for a different strategy. You can also take multiple paths to victory, using the strengths of your Wonder and what cards come your way. This game combines helping yourself and hurting your opponents--a tricky balance at times. But having multiple options is great! That way, if an opponent cuts off one option for points, you can take another. I HIGHLY recommend this second edition from Miniature Market!

Solid classic drafting
Need to scratch the drafting itch without dropping coin on some MTG packs? Bust this bad boy out! Great time, and easy enough for beginners too!

7 wonders revamp
7 Wonders is a great drafting game that's just better with 3+. You're still able to play the 2 player variant, just find the rules on BGG
