Dragon Shield Magic Carpet XL: Red & Black

I LOVE this thi- nay, ADORE this product. The ONLY con I can possibly conceive (and at a stretch, no less), is that there isn't a token/dice cubby, or additional tab dividers provided to help further customize and optimize your card storage. Other than that, this product is amazing! I have four Dragon Shield sleeve boxes, and it fits them all on ONE side of the box (looks like it could maybe fit six or seven?)! The play mat is substantially larger than what I originally imagined, seeing the dimensions out in front of you really does help. The fabric material used for the inside of the product and for the play side of the play mat is SUPER smooth and nice feeling, feels pretty darn good to play on as well, with and without card sleeves (go buy card sleeves if you value your nostalgia). This product also protects magnificently against accidental spills! Now, REMEMBER: REACTION TIME IS EVERYTHING. I had an accidental spill encounter, where my MCXL (Magic Carpet XL) had one of its bottom corners substantially covered in water (quarter to half an inch worth). After realizing what happened and rushing to dry everything off and proceed to taking cards out to inspect damage, I realized Dragon Shield had my back. The play mat did absorb some moisture, as did the corner of the MCXL that got submerged, but NONE of my cards, NOT ONE out of the FIVE-ISH BOOSTER BOXES WORTH OF UNSLEEVED CARDS got wet!!! I lost my shizz in BOTH of these situations. After ensuring it had dried itself out in front of a heater (at a safe distance), it worked at the same max. efficiency it did before. It will also fit KMC brands of card sleeves, along with UltraPro and UltraPro Eclipse sleeves. A fore warning to anyone who maybe plays on a white, plastic folding table or on a table of similar abrasive design/ texture: this Dragon Shield product will leave a red scuff mark (mine was a makeshift table of a laundry basket, despite the plastic being pretty smooth). The weight of the product with cards and surface friction will leave this almost unavoidable, without preemptive protective measures. No major scuffing signs on the bottom of the play mat with the leather-similar material, and the carry strap comes in handy SO much; a nice convient touch.
