Strategic game with gorgeous components
I played this game at a convention and it really drew the eyes of everyone who passed by our table. The main mechanic of this game is a multi-tiered pagoda that you rotate on your turn. The resources that face you when you've finished rotating are the ones you can collect. There are rules for how the pagoda can be rotated, so you'll have to do some thinking to get the items you need. Overall it's a great game that really makes you think and has an amazing table presence. Highly recommend.

Nice game and the Pagoda concept is very good. Many ways to earn points and gives a lot of choices. Overall experience is very new and nice

Beautiful
This game is super satisfying and beautiful. The mechanism of turning the pagoda to pick up resources is interesting. This is definitely a new favorite for us. Planning out your turns to get the optimal resources is quite fun. It has some similarities to Red Cathedral, another game we love, but it's different enough that I'm glad to own both.

Great Gateway Game
I was a little worried that Four Gardens might be slightly too simple, but actually, it turned out to be a tad more thinky than I expected - especially with what cards to draft (either for their ability, their god color, or their landscape color/position). Also, pushing opponents off the score track is an interesting mechanic. I've really enjoyed this one, but am a little unsure about how replayable it will be.

Pagoda for Your Family Game Night
Four Gardens is a game about completing your gardens to score points. Its a family game with easy learning curves, great presentation, tactical decision making, sprinkled with a bit of peppers of player interactions. Replayability might be moderate still a good lightweight introductory game.

Great addition to the Dice Tower essentials
Very fun game love the puzzle aspect of the pagoda. Production of the game is outstanding very nice insert. I love the idea of multi use cards.

More then just pretty
We've really loved this game so far, very nice table presence and also very accessible with simple mechanics, while at the same time presenting enough of a crunchy puzzle to challenge a more advanced gaming group. One thing to note which is important for my gaming group, the blocks used for scoring are only differentiated by color (exact same shape and size) which won't work well if you have color blind participants, we grabbed components from other games to differentiate them, this happens allot in games. Other then that, the production is excellent and the game is fun and fast paced.

A nice filler game
The components of this game are great and I love how well the built pagoda pieces fit back into the box. Having shaped wooden components is nice. I also love that the landscapes were planned so that they will always look nice when completed (for example the 2nd spot on a set will always have the same art, so you don't have to worry about mismatches). Gameplay wise, it's a nice mix of drafting, multi-use cards, and resource management. You have to make some tough choices on what cards to ditch for the abilities and sometimes you just have to take a loss on resources because of how the pagoda is rotated. I like that there's a rule you can only be working on 3 cards at one time but my gripe is also that this rule was very easy to forget and we goofed up our first couple games with that rule. Very minor gripe. This game is well worth playing. I give it 4 stars since I don't know how long the appeal is going to last. It's a fun filler game but it's not very deep.
