BattleTech: Kell Hounds Striker Lance

This package of four mechs is highlighted by the Nightsky, a unique medium mech with a well-designed hatchet arm and an eye-pleasing, strong profile. Outside of the Beginner box this is your way of acquiring a Griffin and it is an excellent value that gives you three additional, highly useful mechs in good poses and all of great quality. The jumping Crusader is a highlight, being able to swap it between two poses.

The Kell Hounds Striker lance is awesome, including the first plastic sculpt of the Nightsky, a hatchet wielding medium mech to smash clanners who get too close. It also includes a leaping Crusader, which can be mounted on its base too. In addition a new sculpt for the Wolfhound and Griffin, the later of which was only available in the beginner box before. A great box, for a great price.

All I'm going to say is that these hit my doorstep and a day later they were on my painting desk. They are amazing models to paint and will look good regardless of how simple or complex you make the paint scheme. I would recommend hitting any Catalyst Battletech plastics with a light degreaser and a warm bath in soapy water before painting. Some boxes tend to have a lot of mold release still on them while others seem to be fine. Either way, a quick wash can't hurt. Definitely would recommend.

I am so pleased with these models, and plan on ordering these again. Why you may ask? Not only to field even more (a company of mechs and counting) but the crusader has another option to the jump jet smoke, and I simply must have both because I'm greedy that way!
