CoraQuest is an exciting and accessible co-operative dungeon crawling game for one to four people, aged six and up.

In CoraQuest, the players work together to guide four adventurers exploring a dungeon, avoiding traps, finding treasure, fighting monsters, and sometimes rescuing a gnome called Kevin.

CoraQuest was designed by father and daughter duo Cora (age 8) and Dan (age 45) Hughes, as a fun creative project to work on together. They had such a good time using their imaginations to make the game, that they wanted to ensure that other people could have that experience too. That's why as well as being a fully playable game right out of the box, CoraQuest also sparks creativity, providing guidance on how to make your own heroes and monsters, and how to design your own adventures. There's even a free web app to help you design your own characters and print them on cool official-looking cards!

All the artwork in CoraQuest is based on kids' drawings, much of it sent in to us from all over the world by the wonderful CoraQuest community. The art has been brought together by our "chief-colourer-in", Gary King, to make a unique and charming-looking game.

CoraQuest

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

To quote my 9 year old, I find CoraQuest amazingly fun. I love the monsters and the cool treasures you find and create. The story is funny- Annabelle and Kevin are my favorite characters. My 6 year old says, I love all the cool adventures and stuff we find. My favorite things is we work together and we adventure together- we don't give up. It's a hit! It can be a bit of set up and tear down in between. You definitely have to read the story with a lot expression and accents, it's hilarious- role play and be a good DM, don't be afraid to make house rules when necessary to forward the experience, if the littles ask can I try this?, I say roll for it. It can be a lot to hold together the groups expectations. My six year old can get frustrated, there's been a couple tantrums- but there's been learning opportunities, growth and fun.

Standard Dungeon crawl but SO GREAT for a young audience!

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

5 stars because it feels unique to the genre, and it's a great gateway to introduce young kids to dungeon crawler board games. My 8 year old LOVES designing new characters and monsters and uploading them to the generator on the website. While the generator is fairly basic, it allows some customization if your kid (or adult!) is feeling limited. 1-off adventures in the scenario books are cute and different enough to keep our family interested. While it's pretty conventional as far as dungeon crawls go, i do like the determined mechanic where you get to roll an extra die if you have bad luck and miss on an attack. Overall, we have had a LOT of fun with this game and love the fact it's also a getaway into board game design!

Kids dungeon crawler

Fantastic little dungeon crawler that's fun for the whole family! Plenty of ways to adjust difficulty in either direction to make sure it stays fun for younger kids.

Amazing!

This game is perfect for a young dungeon crawler fan. My 6 year old understood the rules immediately and has been addicted. It does take a bit of time to set up and play so pick it up and plan a great time!

My daughter (6) really enjoys this one! She needs help reading the story, but the rules are very simple and easy to understand so she doesn't need help actually playing. She loves the stories, and she loves the fact that the characters were drawn by other kids just like her.
