Over all "The Soviet Carnation Battery" not a bad kit. But it is not recommended for beginners.
I have come to expect a certain lack of quality when it comes to battlefront’s resin tanks. So this comes as no surprise with the kit as well. Pro: The Resin is highly detailed and has very little flashing to remove. Being a 4 piece kit makes it a little easier once assembly can begin. Cons: While the Resin was nicely detailed, the mold release used left a very sticky/shinny film over all the parts. Usually this is easily cleaned up with soapy water and a light brushing. Not so here. Soap, had no effect at all. I had to soak all the resin pieces in paint thinner for about 20 minutes, then a strong brushing with an old tooth brush. Followed by a light sanding. After that it was good to primer. Where this kit really falls short are the metal tracks. The detail was poor, and there was a lot of flashing to remove. Every track was warped, and no matter how much I tried to straighten it. They will not sit flat. I was able to get them to adhere to the resin body finally, but everyone is wobbly.
