The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

Nice figure but was a bit hardto glue together.

Fiddly!
Beautifully detailed figure. I like the fact that the two sides are not identical - one wing is at a different angle to the other, although the front legs are in a typical Godzilla pose. Actually mounting the front limbs/wings was a total pain in the a**, and I needed a dab of modelling putty to fill the gaps on one side as I could not fit the leg and the wing into the mounting points on the body simultaneously. (I also glued my fingers to it more than once, but that's another story...) Currently being painted, will add pics when complete.
