28-35mm Scale

After the apocalypse, improvised settlements quickly sprung up outside the cities. These shanty towns are considered safer than open country, and without the risks of claustrophobic urban streets. However, with no infrastructure or sanitation it won't be long before the conflict reaches their makeshift doors.

This box contains everything you need to build a multi-level gaming board covering an area 2' x 2' / (600mm x 600mm), suitable for all 28-35mm post-apocalyptic or contemporary games out in the wasteland. All the pieces are modular and can be assembled in any combination you choose for a different set-up every time. A Neoprene Gaming Mat (600mm x 600mm) is included. The set can be expanded with other sets from the Battle Systems terrain range.

The terrain is supplied flat-packed on high-quality, high-density card, printed in full colour on both sides, so no painting required! The terrain requires assembly, and some smaller parts will require glue.

Would Be Good for Certain Things

Average rating of 3 out of 5 stars

Overall, I think it's a pretty good value. I live in a very humid place right now, and I think the cardboard material may get a little soggy. I also didn't like how it boasts some may pieces when a flat pillow is counted as a terrain piece. I bought it for Kill Team, and I don't think it'll be great for it, although I personally like terrain that requires a little abstract in miniatures gaming as to not distract from the work that went into the miniatures. I'll probably explore MDF for this reason.

A lot for the money

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

It is easy to put together and gives me plenty of options for terrain at a good price. It’s also very sturdy.

Covers what you need to know.

Has a real 'fringe/edge' of the galaxy feel. Has that great Battle Systems quality. Fun for your games of Core Space to play across. Can be arranged differently for great replay value.

Ok terrain

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

Very good terrain pieces for a post apocalyptic setting for any table top rpg or wargame. Although, the price is a bit high for cardboard (Sidebar: It’s somewhat sturdy cardboard, but cardboard all the same.)

Good terrain but a little pricey cardboard

Average rating of 4 out of 5 stars

I got this during the Black Friday so it was well worth the price. I am not sure the normal $100 price tag Is worth it though. Even after watching several videos, it still took some time to figure how things go together. Not impressed with the videos. Not all walls have the special roof notches so not sure if mine was defective or this is just poor quality. Once you figure everything out it does make for an awesome shanty town. I have used it with Fallout wasteland warfare, Star Wars legion, and Imperial Assault minis (using the Horizon Wars: Zero Dark rules. Also, my game mat came creased and it won’t come out. Although the game mat might be nice for some, 2x2 is way too small for all games I play so it really is kind of useless. I would have rather ditched the mat for lower cost or more cardboard. Now, it does make awesome terrain and you can build an entire shanty town quick. With extras like fences, etc. I will definitely keep my eye out for sales. I don’t think you will find this nice looking terrain that sets up as fast as this does. Overall, I am happy with purchase. I will order more because it does make fantastic terrain quick. I just wish they would make large sets sans the mat.
