Good Condition for a Pulp Novel ;3
I'm a fan of the Lovecraft genre, if not the man, and wanna get into using CoC's rule system for some games. But now I can do that and not just make it a depressing time for my players by making it an even fight :)

Shelf Copy?
Pulp Cthulhu is a great addition to Call of Cthulhu, and I highly recommend you add it to your collection. It will change the way you play Call of Cthulhu, giving investigators a slight edge and more survivability. Unfortunately, the copy I received had a scuffed cover and was a little manhandled. It almost appeared as if it was the shelf copy. It's not a game breaker, but I was disappointed in the condition of the book.

Don't know if it deserved a full book
I like the concept of this game but I'm not sure that it required a full book just to beef up your characters. But I do think it opens up some doors so definitely worth a look just depends on what your group is looking for.

Great expansion to Cthulhu games
Great add-on to standard Call of Cthulhu, provides a lot of new options and great ways to integrate all or some on a sliding scale depending on how pulpy you want your adventure. Includes several great adventures that are perfect for exposing your players to pulp and how it is different than regular CoC. Book is well laid out, and always love the ribbon book mark to keep track of important sections or the adventure I am saving.
