The island fortress of Mont Saint-Michel has long guarded France and those within its walls. Now, amid invasion and rebellion, it must stand strong once more - against an unseeen enemy that creeps through shadows, cracks, and drains, bringing hunger and death in its wake. The hour is dark, and the situation grave, but all is not lost. The Cats of Mont Saint-Michel stand watch and will rise to the defense as they have in the past and, if this rag tag pride of strays and misfits are not the legendary heroes of yore, that is only because their time is about to come!
The Cats of Mont Saint-Michel is a solo or co-op campaign board game where you lead heroic feline warriors in a battle to reclaim the ancient Abbey from sinister forces. The game is played directly on a beautifully illustrated, coil-bound scenario book. Each map is a battlefield, each chapter a step deeper into mystery and peril.
Armed with 12-sided dice, skill cards, loot, and special powers, you'll face off against relentlesss swarms of cockroaches, warrior rats, and other creeping horrors. Scenarios are linked into a full campaign - your choices, wounds, and triumphs carry forward, shaping the course of the story.
Progress your Cat hero over multiple sessions, gaining experience anad unlocking uniue abilites as you work to purge Mont Saint-Michel of its vermin overlords. The Abbey's fate - and that of its hidden secrets - rests in your paws.
