Ten years have passed since the Liightbringers defeated the Darkness and made the surface world safe.
But while the Darkness may have been driven back, it was not destroyed. In time, it regained its power and has now launched dire attacks on the world. A new generation of Lightbringers must take up arms and fight against it. Low Maintenance Dungeon Crawling Fun
This was exactly what I was looking for/missing on my shelf. A non-campaign dungeon crawler that's quick to learn and play but has a lot of variety between the character classes. Perfect game for when I want to kill things but don't have the bandwidth for something crunchy.

So much fun
I picked up MD2 after seeing several reviews and play throughs online that were positive. I'm so glad I did. I've played 4 of the one-shot missions, 3 with 2-players and 1 as a solo play and each has been really fun and unique. My daughter loves trying new characters and the unique play style that comes with each one. The loot system is a blast and being able to forge makes it fun even if you don't get something useful. This isn't a hard dungeon crawler so far as I've seen. I know you can tweak difficulty to suit your group, but the fact that my daughter asks to play it again is a positive. It's just so fun and that's all I can ask for. Worth having in my collection.

Massive Darkness 2: Hellscape
The miniatures in this box are outstanding. Be careful when removing them from the tray, as some of them are pretty firmly packed. Some of them are also a little fragile. The artwork is beautiful, and the components are excellent.

Great light dungeon crawler
Very fun game with good dungeon crawler experience and leveling as you go.

Fun Dungeon Crawl!
Massive Darkness 2 is a very fun light dungeon crawl. The variable hero gameplay adds enough depth to make playing the different classes feel very different, but the game remains fairly light and fun. I'd certainly suggest this game to anyone looking for a fun coop game dungeon crawl.
