I've been having a blast with Zombicide 2E. The rules were easy to learn, and the content of the box is amazing.

The orginal Zombicide was one of the first board games that I picked up when I started getting back into the hobby. I thought it was a lot of fun but some of the mechanics didn't make a ton of sense and the house rulings were never really balanced so it ended up collecting dust pretty quickly. The second edition fixes everything I used to house rule in the first game and improves on it in pretty much every way. The 2 new 2nd edition expansions come with full campaigns as well and after picking those up and playing them you can easily turn the base game into a campaign as well. Improvements over the first: 1) Rules: They've simplified some of the rules and changed the ones that didn't work for me in the previous games. If you know how to play the 1st edition then all you need to do is give the rulebook one quick read over and you'll be ready to play. 2) Missions: This set comes with 20 missions (the 10 originals re-done plus 10 new ones) so there's a lot more content in here vs the first. 3) Miniatures & Components: The biggest thing here is that they re-did the dashboard so that it's easier to track your characters and it works well. I remember 3d printing one for my old one which worked but these are better. I'm not much of a miniatures guy but these look good for anyone interested in that. Other components in the box are pretty much identical to the first edition but with better / easier packaging.

Great solo game or party game.

A great game, whether you want to play solo or coop. A lot of streamlined rules from first edition make it an even better experience, and who doesn’t want to slay some zombies in this post apocalyptic setting!?

Excelt game and makes you be more tactical than 1e

A great game co-op game where you collect gear, mow down zombies while trying to pursue mission objectives. Highly customizable in terms of rules. Lots of mindless fun. It almost plays like a video game.

I had seen Zombicide advertised for years and always thought to myself…. “meh” maybe when it’s on clearance. Or maybe never. Well… gosh am I glad I watched some reviews and playthroughs and ultimately bought the game. It is incredibly thematic, the setup is simple and straightforward, yet modular. For solo gamers, and even medium sized gaming groups it is fun! Even non-gamers will get involved in the theme. I am a modern zombie kind of guy so this box is what caught my interest the most. Highly recommend.

Finally decided to push the button when 2E came out. We have entertained the idea of giving Zombicide a try for awhile and are super happy we did. We wanted a game that family or friends could join in and enjoy for the Non-Gamer. This is a great hit! Rules are easy to learn and teach with plenty of online support in the way of videos or forums. Simple and immersive enough to keep all playing involved and interested. Great for adult friends or game night with the kids. Put down the phones and sit down at the table with each other again.
