This boxed set also comes with a First Blood II Rulebook, along with the bases and stands for each of the figures, First Blood Start Play Guide and Assembly Instructions. While this is a perfect Warband to start your First Blood play, these figures are also ready to grow up in to the Last Argument of Kings mass fantasy battle game.

First Blood Starter - Old Dominion
It's perfect for the First Blood rule...but since TLAK is the mainstream in my area, I plan to use it for reinforcement. Parabellum's miniatures are wonderful and have a more historical feel than GW.

Great but not enough
These models are amazing and I am really enjoying painting them. The only disappointing thing is that this box doesn't come with enough models for a standard 800 point force.

Undead Roman Legions, at a discount!
I love being able to pick these models up at a discount in these starter sets. Great sculpts. Para bellum just keeps getting better and better at plastic model quality. Their recent releases are right at the top end of the quality scale!

Great entry point into smaller scale conquest games. Strategos is a leader that buffs specific troop types so I suggest also a box of Athanatoi. This box comes with a rule book and everything needed to play. Models surprised me with 2 types on every sprue.
