In June 1972, five men are arrested in Washington's Watergate building. Newspaper reporters start a thorough investigation and uncover one of the biggest scandals in US history, culminating in Richard Nixon's resignation as President.
In this game, two players immerse themselves in the notorious Watergate scandal. One player assumes the role of the Nixon administration, making every effort to reach the end of his term. The other plays the role of a newspaper editor, trying to gather enough evidence to force Nixon to resign. Who will turn out the victor in this thrilling race against time?
With its very accessible rules and two decks containing completely different cards for each role, Watergate brings history to life in suspenseful and exciting new ways, each and every time you play.

Excellent 2 player game
Very fun and tight 2 player game. Scratches the same itch as Twilight Struggle while being shorter and more lightweight. Very easy to learn and explain to others that aren't too experienced with board games. You don't need to have any interest in the actual events of Watergate though I'm sure it would add to the experience. Highly recommend!

I cannot wait to play this. The instruction manual is easy to learn and I enjoy the biography. Review after review read/watched tells me this is a perfect date night or just us game.

Just pure fun.
Incredible game. My wife and I have been playing it non stop, the strategies always change even if you play the same deck over and over. And when you switch it feels like a different game. Highly replayeble, quick and very fun. Recommended as one of the best 2 player games out there
