The Iron Rail series focuses on rail network developments in various geographic regions around the world at a time when iron and steam powered locomotives were the best means of transportation. Player interaction, route building, and stock investments are key features of the series.

It is a beautiful day on the Emerald Isle and over the rolling green hills we spot a puff of dark smoke. Is it a fire? No, we hear the bright peep of a whistle. It is the 3PM train from Dublin, pulling into our station with a clank of drivers and a whoosh of braking steam.

Irish Gauge is a game about building the railroads across Ireland. Savvy investors leverage their special interests to bring the railroads to their businesses. Irish Gauge is a game of simple rules with varied strategies and tactics.

Amazing intro to cube rails.

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Amazing intro to cube rails. Wonderful aret and easy rules. I would highly recommend if you are curious about cube rails games or wanting to explore the next step in train games after AEG Trains or Ticket to Ride.

Trains and stocks are fun

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Irish Gauge condenses the length and complexity of an 18xx game into a light one hour game where you can be brutal, mean and then play a few more games. It's great for new players, teaches in under 10 minutes. And gets people going right from the start. I can't say anything negative about it except I wish I could play it more. Highly recommendE

Interesting economics

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

This one is very interesting, despite relatively simple rules there is a lot to take in. Early buys can be good, but having extra money can be good too. You don't necessarily want to follow other people's purchases, but you also don't want then to be the sole benefactors of a company profit. I feel like this is what can replace the monopoly, I want to feel like a smart businessperson niche, with less randomness and a much more reasonable play time.
