Be the Bat
I haven't read the comics this game is based on, but I have seen all the movies. Honestly, if you like Batman, you'll get a lot of enjoyment out of The Dark Knight Returns. While it is a campaign game built around a four-part story, there is enough variation to warrant multiple playthroughs. You get some control of everything from the event cards to enemy placement, though not necessarily enough to rob it of challenge. Plus, it has a hard mode and a 2-player versus mode to add further value. The plastic figures included in the deluxe edition are good quality and should look fantastic after they've been painted.

A little disappointed really. When I bought it the picture showed the gold foil deluxe edition box which is what I thought I was purchasing. Ended up getting the retail edition. Guess I should have read the fine print.
