Smaller than expected, but good for a party who is not ready for the real deal.

Terror from the skies

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

A flying black dragon on a medium base, it has still a respectable size, reaching about the maximum limit of what can be fit on a medium base, and on a flying peg on top of that! That's right, even the smallest dragons should not be too small but still strike terror in the hearts of novice adventurers (and their players). This one has a pose where it's just about to strike - or strafe - a surface dweller. The wings and the body are in gliding position and the mouth is opened to chomp or breathe. Some wash in the body accents the details wonderfully. The pose is so dynamic that it's a beauty to look at! Unlike many dragon minis, the wings here are not a problem (usually the sculptors seem to have a problem of where to fit them), but an integral part of what makes this mini so great, as they look so natural, not to mention pretty. Beautiful, "realistic" and very aggressive, this one's a winner.
