Fangs & Talons #31 Yuan-Ti Anathema (U)

This mini appears too insubstantial for the Huge base. A thicker mini would have been better.

I bought this mini for kit bashing a False Hydra for my first time DM-ing. I was running a oneshot with a False Hydra BBEG and was surprised at how well this mini was able to be kit bashed into a False Hydra

I’m running an arena session for my D&D group, and their very first opponent was this bad boy. It’s an incredibly well crafted and painted piece, with fine details and an excellent color scheme. It fits the size of the actual monster well, and it makes players shake in their boots. Epic piece, and nowhere near as expensive as I thought it would be.

I wanted this pre painted miniature to go with my Medusa mini. It nice looking.

This mini is not the best paint job, and the sculpt is a bit weird. But it is a good size, towering over 25mm minis, and it has five heads! If you collect yuan-ti and snake people, this is a must-have.

Finally we got the supreme Yuan-ti. Very cool.

Base size: Huge Model height: ~2.8 inches Sculpt: Awkward stance, pathetically small Paint: Blotchy, flat, too thick on the highlighting This is one of the worst minis I've seen, which is extra disappointing since it is a boss-monster, the Anathema, which should be a centerpiece for a big fight. It really seems like the mini was intended to be much bigger and was scaled improperly, as it doesn't fill out its Huge base at all. The paint job is very bad compared to other minis in the line. Buy the Against the Giants #10 Yuan-Ti Anathema instead, which is an AMAZING mini!
