Icewind Dale Rime of the Frostmaiden #42 Tomb Tapper (R)

My party will be encountering this big boy in their next session in a pitch black cavern. Can't wait to see their reaction. The mini itself is extremely sturdy. I expected the hammer to come bent, but it was completely straight surprisingly.

This is a pricey mini but worth it for me to have such a unique piece from this great set. It gives my Silent Hill vibes, and it will definitely be used as I run the Icewind Dale module. The miniature arrived undamaged. It is a nice size for a huge miniature, filling out the base well and completely dwarfing your PCs. The hammer was a bit bent, but that was fairly easy to fix with hot water. The paint job is good with a coat of wash and some dry brushing on the skin. All in all a great addition to the collection.

This mini is super menacing and scary and intimidating. This guy will really pop out on the table and definitely have the party questioning their decisions. Mine had his metal hammer all waved out but overall super great. Highly recommend as the stats for this guy can be a really fun fight.

Most of this set has been disappointing. That being said this mini is menacing, unknown by my rules lawyer, and absent the cracks that many of the bigger mini suffer from in this set. Even the gf loves him.
