Monster Menagerie #26 Swarm of Bats (U)

Fragile and flat, but definitely a swarm of bats, useful for any vampire shenanigans you may inflict. A necessity for any Curse of Strahd campaign.

Color or paint one of these bats in the swarm a dark blue and call it the Ding Bat. Worry not because these bat jokes guano and ano and ano!

So by the picture i thought these were on 1 inch bases but its a 2 inch base. Swarm of bats in the Monster manual is supposed to be a medium size so that means 1 inch base. Not the worst but as CR 1/4 models you would probably have 2-4 in an encounter so it wastes a lot of space or you have to have models on top of their large bases which again isn't the worst thing its just annoying. The model though is almost a 2D model which i feel like I could've used a cardboard stand up piece and gotten the same effect for less money.

The do to its simplicity the detail on this figure is amazing and wished more figures were detailed this much. Perfect, almost necessary to have in a dark setting. Outside of Ravenloft, the shadowfell, or a dark cave the use of this mini drops, but the figure still warrants a place in everyone's collection.
